About Us

Meet Dr. Nina Rehman, D.O.

RehmanNina Rehman, D.O. is the Medical Director of the Detroit Enhancement Center and an acclaimed member of the BodyLogicMD network of physicians. Her specialties lie in creating customized treatment plans that incorporate a combination of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), personalized nutrition plans, targeted supplement regimens, and stress reduction techniques tailored to each patient’s personal needs.

Dr. Nina Rehman is personally invested in helping her patients restore energy, improve mental clarity and live fuller lives. Her belief that personalized healthcare is the best way to achieve optimal health is at the heart of what drives her to practice functional medicine. She assists men and women in finding relief from the symptoms of menopause, andropause (male menopause), and other hormone imbalances such as hair loss, fatigue, and insomnia.

Confronted with the reactionary, disease-oriented nature of traditional medicine, Dr. Rehman sought a way to help her patients prevent diseases before they occur. This was the driving force behind her transition into the functional medicine field. It is here she feels the merging of art and science that can be tailored to support improving each patient’s life.

This methodology of healing and prevention stemmed from examining her own health issues. If conventional medicine was unable to provide the answers she was looking for, how could it provide solutions for her patients? Dr. Rehman wanted to be able to help people truly get better and not just use the approach of treating symptoms without getting to the root cause of the issue. She took this same belief into the community service sector where she became a chairperson for the Human Development Foundation, which promotes women’s health and overall education in underprivileged areas through fundraising and awareness. In 2015, she received an award for this outstanding work.

Dr. Rehman focuses on prevention and optimizing health by working with her patients to see the big picture and how health (physical, mental, emotional, and hormonal), sleep, fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle are all connected. She enjoys one-on-one time with her patients where they work together in planning a tailored wellness program that fits each patient’s individual needs.

Dr. Rehman received her medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed internships in medical technology at the St. Thomas Hospital & Medical Center in Akron, OH, and transitional medicine at the Mount Clemens General Hospital in Mount Clemens, Michigan, and her residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She is a Fellow of the American College of Internists and an active member of the fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine.
